This museum is small enough to completely cover in just a couple of hours and tries to be fun while focused on explaining science in unusual ways. Magnets, lights, trains, and perhaps the most popular exhibit is the 'walk-through' heart that walks you through the different chambers and pieces of the human heart. Lots of kids everywhere.

Great museum for all ages! The walk-thru of the heart is a must do, and the temporary exhibits the museum puts on are usually worth the extra price of admission.

This huge science museum offers lots of educational information and fun interactive activities for kids and adults. Be selective which exhibits you want to see if you don’t have a lot of time. It can get very crowded, especially on weekends and during school breaks. There is great IMAX Dome theater at the museum that always has some interesting shows – you can come to the museum just for the show (separate admission fee).

The Franklin Institute has had some of the coolest exhibits in Phily, Body Works, Star Wars exhibits and more. While the permanent collection is great always chech on the website about what might be coming to town next. Always a treat for young kids and adults alike.
