Walking through the golden gate at the main entrance almost made me forget I was at a hostel. Plus, this hostel was definitely cleaner and quieter than most hostels I’ve stayed in. There are 20ish rooms spread out on 3 floors of the building. Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms and others don’t, but overall the place seemed considerably clean and quiet for a hostel. Perhaps it’s its location, which is near the train station but not the most popular area for tourists to stay in although I found it to be super convenient. There’s also a simple garden area where you can sit and unwind from the city’s madness. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised to find a hostel in such good condition so close to the main train station. Throw in the free wi-fi and I’d say this is the perfect choice for travelers, especially younger ones, on a budget who are looking to stay near the train station but still want a clean and safe place to sleep!

The hostel is a ten minute walk from Termini where a lot of the city's public transport is located. Hostel is located in a relatively quiet section of the city which is a plus, and the staff who work in reception are pleasant and very helpful with information on the city and public transport. I found the hotel to be a bit dark and drab. The common area could use a fresh coat of paint and is a bit on the small side with all the furniture crammed in it. The common area kitchen was on the small side but functional for preparing simple meals. The hostel is very secure with a lot of activity from the many backpackers and students staying there. This is a great hostel if you plan to spend most of your time exploring Rome and just want a quiet and secure place to bunk for the night.

I stayed here for 6 nights. Had a little problem with the booking: the room was full when I arrived. Anyway, they gave me a private room for the same price of the dorm. There was a free pizza and pasta night. Loved it.
