Very cool! Grab a slushie margarita and stand under the light display for a spectacular show. Whatever the theme may be, it never disappoints. When the show is over, head over to the zip line and fly across the streets of downtown for a short, but memorable thrill ride!

This was lots of fun. There was zip-lining, various street performers (my friends got to take part in a flash mob), assorted vendors - great place to get cheap souvenirs!

The Fremont Street Experience isn’t just “old Vegas,” it really is the street that never sleeps! The bright and flashing lights seriously make the street look like daylight even when it’s dark out!

There are restaurants, gift shops, casinos, bands performing, even zip-lining above the crowds! The coolest part about being out and about on Fremont Street is their giant canopy that turns into a musical visual show every hour! Whatever you happen to be doing out there, you still have a front row view of the show!

Whether you are a first time visitor or a local, there’s a little something for everyone!

The locals say that Old Vegas is on its way to becoming the New Vegas. It gets better every year, for sure!

I love the Fremont Experience much more than the "New" Strip. The light show is exhilerating! All the free concert are fun. Sometimes there are 3-4 bands playing at once. Now, they have the zipline, which is crazy zipping over people opposed to trees, streams and widelife. The little shops, casinos, and bars just makes more more excitement.

Located in the old part of Vegas. Tons of lights - it's an interesting experience and one should at least see this area if they have access to a car in Vegas. Go here at night!

So much random fun! You never know who you will run into. It is very laid-back and there is no need to dress up here. Bring some singles and a camera to get photographed with the locals who dress up like celebrities. There are usually bands playing live music at either end of Fremont.

Go for the cheap minimums for gambling and cheap drinks and for a blast to the past. They did quite a bit with the arch and the lights so I recommend coming at night. I also ziplined for the first time here! Nothing too fancy but a nice, decent priced experience and fun because four people can go at the same time! and you can play bingo. :)

Worth a look if you're already in the area. Downtown Vegas (from what I heard) offers better odds and cheaper buffets. It's like a trip back in Vegas history. The Fremont Street Experience includes a cool light show overhead and lots going on underneath.

Great attraction to see and you must eat at the Binion's Steak House. Get a seat facing the strip at night, great view of the strip at night all lit up. Prime Rib is out of this world.

When I was a kid I loved the Fremont Street Experience because of the lights! Now I think it's slighty tacky, however, if you've never been to Vegas, you should check it out at least once. Plus, it's located in downtown Las Vegas, where it all began! Its authentic touch (come on now, the famous Golden Goose with the notable Cowgirl chick is in so many movies, too!) defines and is the epitome of the classic and original Las Vegas.

Fremont Street Experience is just good 'ol Vegas fun. The neon lights just attract you to the different casinos. But the main attraction here is what's above you.

This is just one big outdoor party space and the music and the huge screen above makes it a very fun experience. The last time I was out here, there was an 80's night and the band that was playing was pure awesome.

Street performers all work hard to get your attention and for a small tip, that photo you take will definitely be memorable.

Downtown gives you a taste of Vegas in its heyday; lots of neon signs harken back to the past; an LED canopy covering 5 blocks with more than 12 million LED lights and a 555,000 watt sound system, the Fremont Street Experience is very much today! Nightly light shows like Bon Jovi's Cosmic Concert, KISS over Vegas and A Tribute to Queen are guaranteed to create a party atmosphere and will have you rocking in the street. Go for the lightshow - stay for the gambling (better odds) and inexensive restaurants

We always stay at the MGM but, we like to gamble downtown. The machines pay better downtown. Love the street excitement!

This show is one that is hard to explain. It is a must see when in Las Vegas. Remember that this is the original strip. It is a show that I see almost every trip to Las Vegas.
