Absolutely stunning view as long as the clouds or rain has not moved in. You have a beautiful drive through the Opunohu Valley on the way to the Belvedere Lookout. Be sure to take the road by Opunohu Bay up to the lookout if driving on your own. This road is blacktop all the way where the other road from ...

    Mt. Otemanu

    3 reviews

Mt. Otemanu is unlike any mountain you have ever seen; unless of course you have ever seen a Hollywood movie set in a random unnamed tropical paradise. The backdrop for many a lost world or happening retreat on the silver screen, seeing this absolutely amazing mountain in person is an experience you will remember for a lifetime. Among the last ...

    Moorea Jet Ski Tours

    5
    2 reviews

This was definitely one of my favorite activities in Moorea. This takes the same route taken as the lagoon boat tours - but so much more interactive. In small groups of 2-person jet skis, you stop in both Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay, and you get to swim with rays and small sharks (all totally safe). The guides we were ...

    2 reviews

The expansive Lava Tubes of Hitiaa provide some of the best semi-amateur spelunking anywhere in the world, and certainly tops as far as french Polynesia is concerned. Newcomers will enjoy exploring lighted tubes through which molten lava carved it's way to the sea thousands of years ago. Parts of this cave are filled with water and can provide a bit ...

    Jus de Fruits de Moorea

    3.5
    2 reviews

There's not a ton to do on Moorea, but the fruit juice factory is one of the few attractions, and it's pretty cheap by island standards. Guests can take a tour of the factory and sample local fruit juices and spirits, that are also for sale at the gift shop.

    ATV Moorea Tours

    3.5
    2 reviews

My favorite tour on Moorea! Incredible scenery from various mountain overlooks. Adventurous, but safe enough that I brought my 7 year old along. Tip: definitely take the longer 3.5 hour tour, includes the peak of Magic Mountain and the Bounty Plateau, two highlights.
