This immersive, slightly trippy garden fantasyland, opened in 2011, is made up of various botanical attractions designed as sustainable public spaces. Highlights include the “Supertree Grove,” a forest of 16-story-high man-made structures covered with living plants and boasting photovoltaic cells that harvest solar energy (the trees are spectacularly illuminated at night), and the Flower Dome, the world’s largest column-less greenhouse—air is cooled at the lower occupied zones through chilled water pipes in ground slabs, while warm air is vented out the top. The conservatory is filled with blooms from all over the world, including a flower-filled field, and constructed from an intricate steel grid and 3,332 glass panels.

Great place to spend the day exploring a beautifully designed garden. The Cloud Forest has "The Falls" inside which is really the coolest surprise as it will shower you with cold splashes once you come inside its entrance. The "Flower Dome" houses a lot of exotic and unique flowers from all over the world. There are cozy restaurants inside the garden too if you want to grab some drinks or a bite to recharge for more garden adventures.

A little pricey for admission, but that's Singapore. Beautiful themed gardens outside, although we didn't visit the giant tree walk. The Domes are definitely worth a visit - photo ops galore and amazing plants and flowers, although the explanations sometimes seemed to be pitched at a child's level.

Spanning 101 hectares, this super park is home to over a quarter of a million rare plants. We spent over an hour in the gorgeous Flower Dome. 15 minutes walk away, there is an overhead bridge connected to the Marina Bay Sands. It's a lovely walk but it can get quite sunny when not sheltered.

Adding more greenery to an already garden like city, the Gardens by the Bay is a massive complex that houses the flower dome conservatories, super tree observation towers, and themed gardens. Developed in phrases, the complex is still a work in progress, however, because of the live plants dominating the garden complex, this will always remain a work in progress!

Opened on 29th June 2012, Gardens by the bay stands on reclaimed land south of Singapore. Open to public (with exception of 3 ticketed attractions, totaling to spending below $30 pet adult). Enjoy camwhoring with the orchids, super trees and the marina bay city view, lastly not to mention the Marina Bay Sands!
