ride to the top 4 minutes back down 3 and a half!!!!Tram cars are tight but it's not too bad. Underneath there is a museum that gives you more information on the Lewis and Clark expedition and so much more!!!!Check it out...worth seeing...better off going in Fall or Winter when the lines aren't too long!!!!

Nothing really prepares you for the majestic beauty of the Gateway Arch. The Arch was completed in 1966, and is the tallest memorial in the United State. The Gateway Arch commemorates the western expansion throughout the 19th century.

The Gateway Arch is large and pretty impressive. I didn't go up to the top because it was expensive, with a long line. There's an okay museum underneath but you'll need to stand in line for a security check - quite long when I went.

Fun little ride up to the top with a nice view of the downtown area. Giving it 5 stars for 3 reasons: the the ride to the top, the view once you get there, and for the fact that my grandfather helped build it!

Inside the Arch there is a great museum to see to learn more about the city. The price to go up isn't all that bad. You will feel a slight swaying once you're up at the top. The view includes not only St. Louis City, but the Illinois side as well. It's quite impressive when you realize just how high up you truly are. There is no other building like it!

It's a cool looking arch but It's not really worth the high price of admission to go up. You get a less-than-stellar view of St. Louis, which quite frankly isn't all that impressive. Stay on the ground and enjoy the arch from the outside instead.
