We spent nearly two weeks exploring this city. Geneva's architecture is reminiscent of the 1950s and 60s. Downtown is where you'll find all the clock makers (e.g., Tissot, Bulova) who advertise on TV and in print ads. The European headquarters of the UN is based here. On the outskirts of town is CERN, where the web (as in "www") was invented. Food is expensive. Everything's expensive for that matter. Nice place to visit albeit expensive.

I can't think of a better city to be in Europe during the summer. Mild weather and clear blue skies only adds to this beautiful city by the lake. Whether it be a boat ride or a jump in, interaction with this gorgeous lake is a must.
Interesting architecture, cool bars and an international feel that is very unique due to the n.g.o./U.N. populace.
While not a cheap city, it is well worth a few days. Just don't be prepared to be blown away by the food.
I am a little biased due to a study-abroad spent here in my youth that drove me to continue to live abroad.
