The oldest "Thirst Parlour" in Nevada and quite the nice "dive" bar to hang out in for a few drinks (I prefer outside). You also get to see quite a clientle (including lots of bikers). Downtown Genoa is also a pleasant respite for all the housing/golf course development going on a short distance away. The Mormon Station across the street is a nice diversion as is Candy Dance in September.

Full of character, this place is the oldest bar "thirst parlor" in Nevada. Clint Eastwood shot Honky Tonk Man here. Genuine. Not touristy. Great stories with your micro-brews.

Oldest bar in Nevada! John Wayne was a frequent visitor. Genoa is a beautiful little town about 30 minutes from the condo.

Genoa is a historic mining town. Great ride going there over Kingsbury Grade with views of the Lake and the Nevada side of the rim.

A seriously great day drinking spot. Even Mark Twain thought so, 150 years ago!
