Directly across from Ringo's Cafe, just off Jonker Street in Chinatown it may be a bit ovepriced, but it's a great gathering place in the evenings with the night market all around and all the life of Malacca stopping in for a drink. People may even occasionally dance!Recommended for:

They offer icy-cold beer (the local Tiger beer was not bad), international comfort food (chicken bites, calamari, among others), local dishes, souvenirs, Wi-Fi, and evening entertainment. That Monday night we were there, we paid the cover charge of RM15 (about US$5) to get one drink of our choice and to listen to a jazz band play a repertoire of classic pop hits. The café also serves only white meat –so don’t expect any beef, lamb, pork dishes in the menu. We loved the vegetarian spring rolls and the Straits of Malacca salad. They're open daily from midmorning till late as the bar and music swings into action.Recommended for:
