A few blocks from Freemont Street and the Max light rail (which provides free access to downtown Portland from the Lloyd Center stop), this 1922 house is one of Portland’s most inviting, personable, B&Bs. The owner here is absolutely lovely and warm, and it’s no surprise that this four-room B&B gets plenty of return guests. The living room here is inviting and features a reproduction of a Penny Farthing bicycle (one big wheel, one little wheel). There are three upstairs rooms (with air-conditioning and cozy homelike decor) and a cooler basement room.
One of the highlights of this place is the garden, which becomes a veritable orchard in the summertime, when its Marion berries, blueberries, blackberries, and even kiwis begin to fruit. There’s also a large patio where guests can have a leisurely breakfast when the weather permits.

Located in NE Portland this charming Bed & Breakfast is in easy reach of downtown Portland and the Northeast river area that houses the Convention Center, Rose Gardens, Lloyd Center, and the Memorial Coliseum.

As the name implies the Georgian House has the warm brick style of the Georgian era even though it was built in 1922.

The accommodation at this B&B is very comfortable, a lot of work has been done to make this B&B's ambience and atmosphere restful and interesting; although maybe at some level the furnishings of the house are to the point of being close to a little twee for my tastes.

The owner (Willie) clearly has a lot of pride in her B&B and goes out of her way to insure every guest is well accommodated and looked after with all amenities.

This really is a very nice B&B and reasonably priced. I would recommend staying here if your area of interest is in North East Portland.

This smaller B&B is located on a quiet street in Northeast Portland and at first glance seems like any other old grand house in the suburbs. The feeling like you’re walking through a less-hoarder-like version of your own grandma’s house imposes itself on you once inside. The bric-a-brac, floral rooms, and (if you’re as lucky as me) a literal little old woman crocheting in the living room give this B&B a familiar, welcoming vibe. The highlight of this bed and breakfast is, without a doubt, the backyard. The porch is large with seats to enjoy a meal outside and the garden is beautiful. Being so close to Downtown Portland and the eateries and entertainment just a few blocks away, The Georgian House would be a perfect place to come back to, decompress, have a drink outside and relax- grandma not included (unless she’s already staying there).
