One of the world's most scenic and varied lands and one of Europe's oldest cultures come together in Germany. German culture, food and language have lent themselves liberally to the rest of the world. German castles are some of the most iconic in existence. And yet Germany enjoys a high standard of living and a thoroughly modern, hi-tech society.Recommended for:

Nice to meet you here, I'm living in Bensheim, Bergstrasse, Hessen. If you like to visit my city, it is about 60 km of Frankfurt a/m. I will be more than happy to help you visiting all the Bergstrasse (Bensheim, Auerbach, Zwingenberg, Heppenheim, Lorsch, Einhausen ...) and other cities as Worms, Darmstadt, Heidelberg and so on. You can find a cheep and clean hotels and resorts in Bensheim as Alle Hotel Europa Hotel, Resorts and Restaurant where I'm working as a Tourists guide. I wish you spending a happy and beauiful holiday in Germany the Land of Martin Luther. Take care, Henry.

Lived here for almost two years and it's been a great experience as a "local" and as a tourist.
Germany is super safe compared to the UK or the US and it has such diversity of things to see and do.
A burgeoning immigrant community also means that you're not stuck with just bratwurst and beer for dinner, but a wide variety of cuisine from around the world.
Well worth a visit or even come and stay for good!

My Birth Country - how can I not love it. All provinces have their own beauty, some more in spring, some in Sommer and others are at their best in Winter. Therefore do some research before visiting. Public transport is generally clean, in time and affordable...and safe!!
I've only driven through Germany and stopped by many cities. I guess, since I don't know any German people who has guided me and given me the nice personal feel to it - I'm not paying the country its fair justice to rate it. I heard Berlin is very unique. I think I will like it.

I really must go here again. I'm sure that my time here has not done the place justice. But I do like their everything-worst. I look forward to my future trip during Oktoberfest!
