    Kopps - Vegan Restaurant & Bar - Berlin/Mitte

    2 reviews

Whether you're here for one of their candlelit dinners or the all-you-can-eat buffet on Sundays, Kopps never falls to please both the vegan and meat-eating crowds. It's a bit on the pricey side, but worth the splurge, especially for options such as the butternut squash ravioli with a lemon sauce or mushroom gnocchi with a thyme cream sauce. The sprawling ...

Formerly a British pub, Viasko encompasses a cozy, dimly-lit two-story space with ample seating. All vegan, it has top-notch creative choices, whether you're there for dinner (ie. the grilled Ciabatta with housemade seitan-piccata, garlic cashew cream, avocado, tomato and ricola) or the extensive all-you-can-eat brunch buffet on Sunday mornings. For only 12 euros, the latter includes tofu scrambles, veggie crepes, ...

Now there are dozens of copies of this original. Vietnamese Restaurant, inexpensive, stylish, quick, packed, very yummy!!! The idea is to offer a cool & stylish restaurant at a low price and great kitchen. They make it happen by packing many people into a small room, serving the food swiftly and making you eat quickly. It works, and it's a ...

    Mustafa's Gemüse Kebap

    8 reviews

Berlin is known as the home of the döner kebab, and Mustafa's has perfected it! It's a stand on the sidewalk, not far from the popular Curry 66. There is always a queue stretching down the sidewalk to order, and nowhere to sit, but don't let it deter you - this kebab is worth it. Whether you get a vegetarian ...

Fassbender & Rausch Chocolatiers am Gendarmenmarkt

    3 reviews

Fassbender & Rausch make some delicious chocolate. Fassbender opened his shop in the mid 1800s, Rausch in the early 1900s -- they joined forces in 1999 to form the "Largest Chocolaterie in the world". Do your shopping downstairs, and visit the giant replicas of Berlin's sights (Reichstag, Fernsehturm, Brandenburg Gate) made entirely out of chocolate. Afterwards, pop upstairs and indulge ...

    Michelberger Restaurant

    2 reviews

Believe it or not, but this hipster style hotel offers a brilliant fresh made lunch, that is so over the top. The lunch menu changes ever week and the meals are made freshly with organic ingredients. Half of the menu is vegetarian or even vegan, what they are known for. The restaurant offers long tables perfect for groups and families, ...

    Gorki Park

    2 reviews

Please do yourself a favour and have breakfast at Gorki Park. You will not regret this; they serve the best breakfast and I always ensure that I visit every time I am in Berlin. Breakfast is served every day until 4pm, so after a night out in the clubs don't be afraid to drop by there at 1pm and still ...

    Wok To Walk

    3 reviews

The quality of the food is indeed good to very good. The restaurant itself is very sparse, with an industrial look. Don't expect table service, as you order and pick up you food at the counter. Compared to other places and the small kiosks around town that sell Asian food at a very cheap price, this is rather expensive. I ...

    Cafe Rix

    2 reviews

Cafe Rix is a favorite spot to handle a hangover, if you can get there before 2pm when brunch ends. The setting, in a former ballroom next to a courtyard, is an added bonus.

De rigeur for a first trip to Munich. The main attraction is the beer, served in 1 liter mugs. They also serve gigantic soft pretzels to help soak it up. Kitschy (the waitstaff is clad in liederhosen) but fun.

    Block House

    3 reviews

If you like meat, perhaps there is no better place to get some food. The service is nice and the food is delicious. But you will also find something to eat as a vegetarian. Personally, I really liked the baked potato with fried vegetables.

Small but perfectly formed. Only stayed long enough for a very nice cappucino, but sandwiches looked appealing too.

    Clärchens Ballhaus Restaurant

    7 reviews

Ballroom dancing and restaurant. One of the last remainders of the old Eastern Berlin times... the interior is practically untouched since 40-50 years. Good German kitchen and you can watch tango dancers, swing dancers and other types of dances, depending on the day. Tuesdays are recommended.

    Augustiner Großgaststätten

On our last day in Munich my wife and I sat outside of Augustiner enjoying the local brew and eating wurstel. Part of the enjoyment was the cobble stone streets and churches around us.
