Best seafood in town! If you live by San Luis Obispo or Atascadero and want fresh seafood? This will be the place. This fish market provides the freshest seafood you can find. If you are driving on the 1 freeway, towards Hearst castle, I would recommend you to stop by Morro Bay for some food and check out the Morro Bay rock!

You're wandering down along the tourist Embarcadero in Morro Bay, and you're wondering where to eat that's not a complete rip-off. Fish and chips (with super garlicky fries) at Giovanni's is your best bet. The indoor fish market is expensive and doesn't carry only locally caught fish, but the take-out window and outdoor deck are convenient for a quick bite. Just watch out for those pesky pigeons.

Check out the local fish market located on the famous Embarcadero of Morro Bay. Fresh fish is caught daily by the local fishermen and brought to Giovanni's. Excellent waterfront location and perfect for an inexpensive lunch or dinner while enjoying the paddle boarders glide by and the elephant seals sun themselves on the docks.

Great spot to purchase Grassy Bar oysters harvested right out of Morro Bay! Perfect raw or on the bbq with a little garlic and butter.

Fresh seafood right on the beach! Great food for very decent prices, the fish and chips are excellent, and the view is spectacular around sunset. The only bad thing is they close pretty early, at 6pm, so get there early for dinner.

Decent fish and chips (upgrade to the garlic fries for a greasy treat), but come here for the view not the food. Right on the water in adorable Morro Bay (20 min NW of San Luis Obispo), this fish shack has a quintessential Central California view.

Get great seafood without having to spend a lot. The market is set up so you can pick your crab and have it steamed along with other seafood dishes fried, steamed, baked however you want. The fries that come with the dishes are pretty good. Grab your food and a table by the water and enjoy. Just watch out for all the seagulls.

Wonderful place for fresh fish. They also serve great food - especially the clam chowder!
