Gladys Cafe is the perfect place to stop for lunch while shopping in Charlotte Amalie. It's pleasant, air conditioned and the food is excellent. If you're lucky, you may hear Gladys break into song.

My favorite local dining spot down town. Charlotte Amalie. Located in one of those
famous brick lined, alleys, surrounded by art galleries, and duty free shopping spots.
Gladys is famous for the hot sauces she makes her self. Try one with one of the local dishes, stewed chicken, meat patties, etc. Then purchase a few to take home as a gift. She will wrap them for you to travel with.

This quaint cafe is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of St Thomas! Our family asked the locals where we should eat in town, several mentioned GLADYS's Cafe. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and the portions were large. Take a table by the window and people watch... very nice staff!
