    Small town in the Glendalough valley. A glacial valley in the Wicklow mountains south of Dublin. Beautiful scenery, and lots of great opportunities to go hiking. Also check out the ruins of the Glendalough Monastery

    Founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. If you like old graveyards, this is a great spot. If you are not on a guided tour, read the history of the place prior to visiting.
