Other than The Brazen Head, there really are not that many late dining options in San Francisco. It's really a shame, as I am a huge fan of stuffing my face late at night. I love being in countries like Argentina and Spain where you can drop in for dinner after 10 and not get that evil eye from the ...

This was my favorite hang out for years. Its very cozy and yet also very trendy. On Friday or Saturday nights, its a place to lounge with a bottle of champagne with good friends. They have a downstairs dungeon for dancing with a live DJ playing house and techno.

What a beautiful discovery this is! Face the Ferry Building and head left. At the first set of buildings, enter through the arches and you'll find the most beautiful and peaceful waterfront area, a walking path leading from docked boats to fancy restaurants. It's a beautiful stroll, perhaps one of the most tranquil in San Francisco.

    Hidden Vine

    0.16 mi from Globe

The Hidden Vine is a great place to relax with a glass of wine and some light food. It is “hidden” in a small alley in the Financial District, so more likely you won’t just walk upon it by accident. But it doesn’t mean that people don’t know about it – it could get crowded, especially in the early evening ...

Nice little lounge with an outdoor patio. It wasn't too packed for happy hour on a Friday night. We grabbed a seat inside since the outdoor patio was full. The service is a little slow. The drinks are good and so are the garlic as herb fries!

A small little club. It is mostly filled with locals. We stopped here with a bunch of travel buddies to just sit and relax. It is right across the way from the Green Tortoise Hostel which makes it a potentially good place to meet new interesting people. The drinks are reasonable price (as they arent in most places in SF)

Lots of Old World SF charm and very sexy... just what you'd expect from the guys at Vintage 415. Try their tasty Cal-Ital bites for lunch and hit it up for happy hour and late night absinthe cocktails. I love the large mural of Rome's skyline on the wall above the staircase. The swanky downstairs parlor has the original seawall ...
