where the breakfast buffet has a pond with swans as well. The rooms are a good size with lanais. There are Hawaiian quilts above the beds as well. This resort partners with the other mega resorts along the Kaanapali beachwalk boardwalk for some water sports, including surfing lessons. This hotel also has a luau onsite

diving spots, most famously Molokini Crater (take a morning boat tour, rather than in the afternoon when it's most crowded and the waters are more murky). You've got your pick of several resort hotels and also some upscale condo complexes near the golf course. And when you're ready for adventure, head south to Makena (Big) Beach and La Perouse Monument, where you can snorkel and hike along the ancient lava-rock Kings Highway.
