Help LS with their trip plan: Going to New York City
Hey there! You could rock up at tkts for same day tickets and see what they have, or, depending on your taste, check out British import Matilda, Once, the Book of Mormon, or maybe the Glass Menagerie (a straight play).
I recommend Matilda. It was my first musical and I really enjoyed it. It made me impulse watch another one, Avenue Q, which was really funny.
If you don't mind standing up, I suggest getting standing tickets. However, there is a chance you may not get them as only some theatres offer them and they are only available when the majority of the seated tickets sell out. However, I payed $29 for standing tickets for Matilda, vs $115 from a ticket reseller for a seat on the highest level at the back.
