a curtained 'wall' leading to a private patio. There's also electricity and shared bathrooms (towels included). Best of all, the campsite sits alongside a river with a handful of nice beaches, which are perfect for kids (and kids at heart) to play on. The views of Half Dome are gorgeous too.

sets. It's a gorgeous hike that left my legs aching but my mind so happy. Well worth the effort. Don't forget your camera! Or water. Or snacks. Note: There's a campsite halfway up, if you'd prefer to break up the hike over a couple days.
