    Goleta Butterfly Preserve

    3 reviews

This place is nature at its best. After parking on the street you enter the preserve. It is a really nice walk through the trees until you get to the preserve where you can see thousands of Monarch Butterflies in the eucalyptus trees. A must see if in the area in Feb/March. To cap it off you are a very ...

Santa Barbara Farmers Market - Sunday

    3 reviews

I love supporting local farmers and this market showcases Santa Barbaras best. I get the freshest fruit and veggies, fresh fish or crab when I'm feeling adventurous, and the home made hummus (there is an amazing hummus stand at the far end).

    Zizzo's Coffee

I come here sometimes because it's directly on my commute to work and they have a drive-thru (which there are very few of in Goleta). Quick place to get coffee and tea.

    Mercury Lounge

    1 review

This is an awesome bar. Extremely laid back, good wine and beer selection. Best of all, a very relaxed back patio. This is a place for a more mellow night than you would have on State Street. I've been going here on and off for four years, and I have yet to be disappointed. Great atmosphere, wonderful people, delicious drinks ...

    Costco Goleta

It cannot get any more convenient if you are looking to stock up your house on food and other items. They have a great selection of food, clothing, alcohol, etc. They also have a surfing and swimming section which is great because it is so close to the coastline.

    Zodo's Bowling & Beyond

    1 review

Only bowling in the area, so it may get a four by default. Wednesday is college night, so unless you are in college then avoid that night of the week. I don't bowl much but this place is cool. They also have a bar and restaurant inside and the bar is full of good microbrews.

    Gaviota State Park

    1 review

While Gaviota is not by a lake it is on the Pacific Ocean and very accessible from PCH. It is just north of Santa Barbara before you get to Buellton.
