Good Stuff Eatery is a family burger joint, but it is known as Spike Mendolsohn's place. Spike was a contestant on Top Chef and is another D.C. food star. The original location in Capitol Hill is always busy and worthy of the wait.

A very nice and impressive building. The more you look at it, the more interesting details you notice. You must certainly have a look at the marvelous fountain in front of the building at street level.

Wonderful weekend market with an eclectic mix of vendors ranging from handcrafts, artwork, organic fruits and vegetables. The Eastern Market flee market is located at one end of the block, and the street is blocked off so vendors can set up their stands. Eastern Market is open every weekend until 7pm, and during the summer there is a farmer's market ...

Always a favorite from the first time I went as a kid. If you are in DC stop by for a visit. It is one of the more impressive and interesting museums. The flight and space exhibits are fascinating and the Smithsonian has been thorough and detailed in their exhibits.

I recently had the opportunity to visit a few Senate offices as part of a work trip, and the building is gorgeous - certainly nicer than the House offices. There is a cool modern art sculpture in the main lobby, but the BEST part of the Senate building is the frozen yogurt shop near the downstairs cafeteria. Priorities, people.

Art and color reclaimed this 138 year old building nestled in Southwest DC; two amazing artists painted the Exterior (HENSE - ATL) and Interior (MEGGS - AUS) of the building but there is still quite a bit to do... But it is a start in a neighborhood that could use some sprucing up. The gallery has ambitious plans. I can't ...

The building itself is lovely, but watching the Supreme Court in action is the best! Oral arguments before the Justices are open to the public. When the Court is in session, there's a “three minute” line if you just want to take a peek.

Like many DC visitors, I come to the Museum of the American Indian for one main reason: the cafeteria. True, it is hectic, jumbled, poorly organized and a pain to get through, but the food is fantastic. There are a few different stations where you can hop in line to try various Native American fare; the last time I came ...

Nice little park in the middle of Capitol Hill neighborhood. It has a rather odd statute of a slave kneeling in front of Abraham Lincoln in gratitude. It is a popular place for locals to picnic and hang out in the warm weather months
