Very expensive but worth every penny. Highly recommended. You can take the train up and hike all the way down.

Had a fantastic meal here with children. The raclette was delicious and meats grilled to perfection on open grill. Very warm and cosy atmosphere. Did not try the fondue, but that seemed to be a specialty, as well as meats and other traditional Swiss entrees.Popular withFamilies

Wonderful locals-only restaurant specialized in grilled meat and fish served on hot stones. Well of the beaten path, you will likely be the only non-Swiss visitor. The views and service are lovely. Vegetarians will struggle but can find a few options.

Overlooking the main Piazza Mario Motta and Lago Orta, the restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes in a very pleasant setting. The vitello cotoletto, veal cutlet, a traditional dish from the region was particularly good.
