Graffiato is located on the quiet side of Gallery Place in downtown DC. It serves Italian small plates and pizza. Both the small plates and pizzas were delicious. The pizzas on offer are a nice neo-Neopolitan with unique options that are delicious. We'll be back.

Mike Isabella's Graffiato is small bite Italian food spot that is frequently busy and consistently has amazing food. I suggest making a reservation instead of waiting for hours to sit down. The spot is tiny and loud, but it's well worth a visit.

Naturally I have to write a review for a fellow Top Chef
alum. Mike Isabella’s Graffiato brings some Jersey Italian swag to the table at this new restaurant. The Sweet Corn Agnolotti is out of this world. My tip: get there early to order the secret, off-the-menu dessert, Zeppoles dusted with strawberry powered sugar. They only made a handful each night.

Description

This Italian-inspired restaurant concentrates on local, seasonal ingredients, just like the best restaurants in the boot itself. The fresh mozzarella and "ham bar" are some of the signature dishes, quickly gaining purchase in D.C. after the Graffiato opened in 2011.
