From the time I stepped off the plane,I knew I arrived in a Magical Place.I was so RIGHT,from the Crystal Clear bath-water warm waters of the the waveless Ocean of Life that swim all around you.The playful Neon Fish you can buy in any petstore. Swim out only a few yards from the Prestine pure sand beach and look down and see schools of Tropical Fish, perfectly clear waters 15 -20 feet deep.To my amazement I saw Livng corals with the most beatiful assortment of vivid colors of more speicies of tropical fish than I could ever identify.
Then there is the MUST see Q.E.II Botanical Gardens. It's like being dropped into the Garden of Eden, one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES I've ever seen.
A great stop is inside the Gardens are the Blue Iguana Breeding Program. In 2002 there were less than 50 Blues in the wild, their efforts to save an almost extinct reptile. The story has the Happiest ending, now there are 4 island repopution sites where the Blues are doing GREAT ,numbering in the hundreds now. A truly signicate sign we can change the world around us.The International Reptile Conservation Foundation the Organization has played the major role of this save, has moved on to saving many other reptile species.
Moving back from the end of the island you find youself in majorly modern city of EXCELLENT restarants, shopping and Great Beach Bars where everyone makes you feel at Home, lots of Music live and taped where you let your hair down. With a gentle Island beeze, soft sand
and some of the most friendly people, it's the PERFECT GETAWAY.

First visit.....go to Stingray Village !!! What an amazing experience !! Don't be afraid....they are amazing....fun....and you get to feed them. Laughed the whole time we were swimming with the stingrays...all sizes and ...they tickle !!! Weather was awesome...and if you like turtles, go to Boatswain/Boatwrights ????? I forget the name...close to one of these....it's the main Turtle farm...you can hold sea turtles, pet them and feed them. Awesome fun
