a bigger hotel and more business style, but also great to have a weekend close to big cities. nice rooms, good bed, very nice indoorpool and wellness, great breakfast and good italian foodRecommended for:

In the former hunting lodge of the Elector Jan Wellem (1679 - 1716), which in the early 18th Built-century and is regarded as the second largest Baroque castle in Germany
. In 1997, the former royal hunting lodge was extensively restored and converted into a grand hotel with five stars. Althoff Hotels Group is the operator. One of the Leading Hotels of the World and has 120 rooms. The resort has three restaurants (including star chef Joachim Wissler), a beauty and health club and a jeweler.
In the Schloss Bensberg also hosts major events from 2002 to 2005 about the annual awards ceremony for the Grimme Online Award. With the FIFA World Cup 2006 Schloss Bensberg was the headquarters of the South Korean national team. In addition to the "Festival of the Master Chefs" and the classic car meeting Schloss Bensberg Classics Christmas market attracts each year for the third Christmas at Schloss Bensberg thousands of visitors.
