Grayline was by far the worst company I had to deal with in all of my travels. They were slow, disorganised and frankly irresponsible and had no clue about what was going on. I hated it. We booked the 'Niagara by air' tour and were told to wait at a hotel across town to be picked up at 4:20am. However, no one showed up leaving us stranded there (with other passengers) for more than 2 hours. Customer service is also appalling. They show no sign of respect and are difficult to deal with when in need of answers (also a refund). I am shocked with the treatment I have received from grayline NY.

We purchased 3 day hop on ticket for $65. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR UPGRADE OF VIP PASS!!! It costs an extra $25. per person.

A total waste of money and you do not get any special treatment. The 3 day pass is okay, but 2 days is enough.

Customer service was awful when we complained of the VIP pass the same day and they just gave the run around week after week; and said they will try better and thanks you. So you are just SH@# out of luck.

***DO NOT SIGN UP FOR UPGRADE OF VIP PASS!**** a total waste of money.

We will not ever use Grayline again, their customer service stinks and they will not return calls or help you. Their slogan is: " Your satisfaction is our priority"....NOT
They said their policy is NO REFUNDS, but the sales guys failed to disclose all information, but he was good in selling you this upgrade.

A Gray Line tour (or a tour by most any competitor) is always a good idea in getting a great overview of this fantastic city. Even if you are a frequent visitor to New York (or even if you live here), be sure to take a tour at least once. You will probably learn something new, while enjoying the sights and covering a lot of ground without having to pound the pavement!

The best way to see NYC if time is not by your side. Boat tours are another great consideration.

The tours are awesome! Guides are good, some better than others but still worth the money and an easy way to see the city in a short period of time. Best time to go? Summer!

If you don't have a ton of time to explore NYC, this is a decent option.
