    Clingmans Dome

If you like to see the night sky filled with millions of twinkling stars this is the place. They are almost touchable close. Bring a flashlight and jacket (even in the summer) and watch the sun set and the sky come alive with a night time delight many do not get to see. In winter check for road closing information ...

This is always great in the summer for the family of all ages. My grandchildren even got me on the tube that goes around like a toilet bowl and then through tunnels to the pool at the end. Lots of fun!

    Newfound Gap

    49 reviews

Travel here for access to the Appalachian Trail and to see sunsets to cry for and sunrises to jump for. The large and busy parking lot saddles the TN/NC boarder. This is an alternative star gazing spot if Clingman's Dome Road is closed. Bring a jacket and a flashlight and watch for bears in the summer crossing the road.

What a cool show- a little hokey but hey that's Pigeon Forge. We had front row seats which I highly recommend to see all the action! Let them know ahead of time if you need a vegetarian meal and they did a great job of accommodating!

Tanger Outlet Center is one of my favorite shopping outlets. Take your time to investigate the many shops here and, oh yes, a few dollars would be helpful.

I also have a deep-seated problem with heights, yet I was able to go up and back down with relative ease. The views coming down are particularly stunning.

Great for kids. However, the building needs some maintenance work on the outside. Some of the activities inside did not operate. That was annoying.
