Great place to go for a little get away vacation or mini trip for the day. You can rent a golf cart, bike or you can bring your own bike for only $7 to pay at the Catalina Flyers that's the boat that we ride from Newport Beach to Catalina Avalon. Do some tours it's worth it.

Great place to lounge and relax. A mix of foodie heaven and some tourist traps. I hate the crowds during summer and Christmas season. I use to shop a lot on 3rd Street when I worked nearby. Then I explored the city more when I was always there on weekends.

#BeGone We can only imagine that unhappy folks read gloating updates, close their eyes, and start to visualize a place of beautiful people, dopey-sounding (but, smoking hot) surfers, and the rough-and-tumble big city kid come who’s come to live with an innocent, beach-bred, comic book-loving high school student known as Seth Cohen. The place they’re imagining exists, more or less, ...

#BeGone Here’s our guide to one of the prettiest places on Earth, mudslide survival kit not included. Where to Eat: Malibu Cafe at Calamingos Ranch, for the bottomless Mimosa brunch; Cafe Habana, for the grilled corn; Neptune’s Net, or ‘The Net’, for East-Coast-style seafood and biker gangs. THE LBC... Definitely a place that is infamous for the good the bad and the ugly. This place as all that and some more... The Good: An awesome downtown area with major So Cal attractions like the Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach Convention Center, Signal Hill, Long Beach Harbor, The Queen Mary, and lots of restaurants. The Bad: The ...

Born in Santa Monica in 1954 and lived here until I was 20 years old and could not imagine a better place to grow up. Very small, friendly town where all the store people knew you by name and no one ever was a stranger. Don't know if it still has that quality now, but was the best place for ...

Cool modern architecture, beautiful weather and homes. There are lots of options in terms of activities from dining to gyms but they tend to be chains which is why I give the area 4 stars

Glendale remind me a lot like Pasadena, but smaller and little nicer. It doesn't had the huge sport stadium like the rose bowl or popular school like PCC or Cal Tech. But Glendale is kinda seat in between between east and west urban community in L.A. Downtown is more like a working area and not something you want to bring ...

Pho, dim sum, shanghainese, seafood, ramen, everything you can think of. Just make sure you have plenty of time to waddle on home.

One of my favorite beaches in SoCal! Beautiful, clean beach with a fun pier and good dining options nearby. If you want a nice place to stay, I'd recommend the Beach House Hotel.
