    Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel

    Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4
    41 reviews

I like the Roosevelt because of its history. I find most of the people who work there infatuated with their own sense of importance. The hotel's Dakota restaurant purports to project elegance but by trying so hard it projects only a caricature. Compared to the style, grace and friendliness of the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Roosevelt is a hillbilly. Named ...

Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

Real talk, I'm more of an AirBnb traveler than a hotel guy when left to my own devices. But having had the pleasure of staying at one of LA's true treasures (Such shiny! Many luxury!), I can see how hotels are able to fight back against the "stay local" movement by upping the ante. From the rooftop pool (where frequent ...

Havent stayed overnight...but frequent for brunch and their par 3. The resort grounds are something special....set on the edge of the planet. Endless lawns/paths to walk while taking in the view. Enjoy a drink by the fire pit at their casual restaurant....then head to dinner at one of their other, finer eateries.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which was formerly known as the Rock and Roll Hyatt back in the day. Great service, a really nice gym, excellent roof top pool, and an unbeatable location along the Sunset Strip.

College town since it sits right next to UCLA. Westwood is always busy, crowded and noisy every Fri., Sat. Night with about 2,000 drunk college kids. If you are a drunk college kid, this is the town for you! Expensive, no place to park, clubs with drunk, scantily clad college girls, lots and lots of overpriced restaurants and stores and ...

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is amazing and the surounding make you feel like you are on vacation somewhere far far away even though you are just outside of Pasadena. During the holiday, the hotel has a wonderful Teddy Bear tea time for the kids.

My favorite LA hotel for pure luxury. Love the rooms, the spa and rooftop pool. I'm a frequent visitor to the Boulevard Restaurant for lunch/brunch and it's always fabulous! Pricey, but this place consistently delivers great service and comfort.

Love, love, love this hotel. A few of the female employees were a little "snooty," which amazed me since if you're working there, you probably can't afford to stay there; but whatever. Otherwise, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

The Beverly Hills Hotel is currently celebrating its 75th anniversary. And if there were any doubt that the “Pink Palace”—as it’s still endearingly referred to by many locals—is a celebrity and industry haunt, the red carpet lining the entryway should put that to rest. It’s hard not to feel special wandering the hallways here. And even if you don’t decide ...

One of those old school hotels that probably dates from the time that men and women's swimsuits more or less looked the same. The lobby has a piano, a bar, cocktail and food service, and lots of seating. Go around sunset and grab a seat by one of the large windows overlooking the beach and the pier.

Kind of a weird hotel, but in a good way. My room appeared to be themed black, and was pretty stark. But I guess that’s a certain style, and it was consistent throughout the hotel. There were parties going on almost every night, but I didn’t attend any. The concierge was very helpful in helping me set up day trips ...

Cool hotel, super nice. I stayed in a suite that had a TV built into the mirror in the bathroom…I was almost afraid to touch it. I spent most of my time at the hotel on their sleek pool deck getting my tan on. I saw the guy who plays Conrad on Weeds, that made my day! Like the last ...

Comfortable spacious rooms make this a good value, but it's located in a completely isolated spot just west of the 405 on Sunset, so don't be fooled into thinking you're going to be staying in the heart of Beverly Hills.
