    Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas

    Sunset Marquis Hotel and Villas

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    7 reviews

This is ultra-luxury, rock n’ roll style. It’s just a stone’s throw from the Sunset Strip but inside the gates it’s really an incredible Hollywood oasis. It feels like a movie set – probably because tons of famous people actually stay here. Celebs from the Rolling Stones to Anthony Kiedis and Billy Bob Thornton have passed through and there’s probably ...

I love the Santa Monica hostel! It's one of the cleanest, friendliest and overall nicest hostels I've ever walked into. The location is central to everything in the Santa Monica area. It's walking distance to tons of bars, shopping (3rd St Promenade) and 2 blocks from the beach - amazing!!

Doesn't look attractive from the outside but it's a pretty good hotel. My room faced the beach and it was pretty clean. Nothing extravagant but the location is amazing. Prices are reasonable too.

Hmm, this is a hard hotel to review, because as far as ambience is concerned, I give it a 5. This Moroccan inspired historic building is a step into another world with its decor and authentic furnishings. Service, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. We stopped by for a meal, to which we found out there ...

The rooftop bar is an evening hang-out for models, wanna-bees and lookie-loos, like me (the latter!) A gorgeous renovation of the modernist building just steps from the downtown library in a neighborhood that's safe to walk into the wee hours. The drinks are creative and expensive, as is the cover cost unless you stay at the hotel. Great urban fun ...

Holy moly - this hotel is one of the most modern artsy hotels I've ever been in. The interior decoration and ambiance here is the perfect mix of Hollywood hip to upscale classy. Beautiful spot. This hotel sits on the bluffs of Rancho Palos Verdes, with sweeping views of the pacific. The hotel is done in traditional Spanish style, with red tile roof, terra cotta floor tiles and palm trees. Great for a weekend escape - I felt like I was transported to the Italian Riviera. Convenient location, close to nightlight, the Metro (next door), tourist attractions, and food. I liked the window seat in our room...it was just overlooking a parking lot, not tr city. Amazing hotel on the beach in Santa Monica. Rooms are big, well decorated, and the beds are super comfortable. Service is great, and the pool area is clean and nice. Chateau Marmont

The Chateau Marmont is like an oasis in the heart of the city, except for the fact that it's no secret. Definitely an attraction for tourists and celebs alike, the hotel is always busy. But how can you blame them? The grounds are beautiful, the pool area a mini retreat, and unique individual bungalows that are more like retro condos. ...
