    Hotel Erwin

    Class:

Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

The Erwin Hotel of LA has one of the greatest views of Venice beach. The location couldn't get any better for being a central location for exploring the area. The friendly staff was more than helpful with getting us situated and extremely knowledgeable of the "hot spots" to check out. The room was in perfect condition, you could smell the ...

Holy wow.... I really don't even know where to start... I'm one of those people that normally picks cheap hotels, or a friends couch, since I'll just normally be sleeping there, so this was a little out of my element. We went the straight from the airport after traveling for 12 hours, so I felt ungodly out of place in ...

Eyecandy, people watching and expensive but great drinks! Where the socialites hang out, but can also be a bit pretentious. Beautiful location though!

If you are a lover of traditional hotels the Millennium Biltmore will keep you happy. The decor is dated in keeping with the architecture. The rooms are large and so comfortable. The service is exceptionale! I found it relaxing and the locale perfect if you need to be in downtown LA.

So adorable! Right in the heart of hollywood! It's like a little apartment w a kitchenette. The counter even has a stripper pole (although I'm sure it's meant for some structural support) record players! I love the restaurant below called Cleo's. Just a few minutes walk to the nightclubs or the W hotel

This place is definitely a resort/retreat type of place. With great views of the ocean and rich red cliffs, you'll get plenty of gorgeous scenic shots. There's even a trail that goes down to the sea so you can walk along it. The property is expansive and includes the hotel, spa, and restaurants, along with other amenities. It's rather out ...

The Langham Huntington, Pasadena, Los Angeles

    Class:

Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

This hotel is perhaps the most interesting and historically best-preserved in Los Angeles, combining history with elegance and fine dining. Albert Einstein, Theodore Roosevelt and Prince Philip all stayed here and would, I suspect, do so again today. As far as I know, in California the only hotel comparable to the Huntington is San Diego's tourist infested Hotel Del Coronado. ...

I love the Kelly Wearstler glam decor and although I cannot speak for the rooms, the bar is great and the whole place captures the essence of California Cool, complete with a great pool, cabanas, lots of turquoise and white and just enough pops of gold to keep you from thinking you're in the Caribbean. It's this sort of only-in-LA ...

#BeGone If you're on a short trip you want to be near LAX, Custom is going to be the only "boutique" hotel in sight. The fake sheep in the lounge may be a little much, but this hotel is on the quirkier/trendier side of things. The rooms are pretty basic, but worth the price. (Speaking of price, rooms start at ...
