Hilton Los Angeles / Universal City

555 Universal Hollywood Dr, Los Angeles, CA 91608-1001
    3.5

Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

The Hilton Universal City hotel is very conveniently located, since it is right across the street from the Universal Studios theme park and Universal City Walk (an outdoor strip of businesses, which includes lots of restaurants, bars, shops, a movie theater, and sometimes live events). Universal Citywalk is not all touristy delight though-- locals quite often catch some live music ...

So I was just here to see my dad and step mom... it was a pretty clean hotel overall with a spacious entry and two on site restaurants (I will get into one of them in another review). Lots of free parking surround this place and they also have a valet if you want one. From what I can tell ...

Former home to Hollywood stars from Greta Garbo to John Wayne, this gorgeous art deco tower on the Sunset Strip offers an upscale experience with posh rooms and sleek dining. It's illustrious history has been toned down and reduced to a little pamphlet to appeal to guests looking for a more contemporary environment, reverting to original name of the property. ...

With 1,234 rooms, this gargantuan hotel is the second largest in all of Los Angeles. Amazingly, sell-outs are not uncommon, especially in summer, when it’s spilling over with international tour groups who are either beginning or ending their stays here. It’s a good looking hotel, impressive particularly in the common areas, though the Serenity bedding is nice, too. I wish ...

This place pampers the heck out of you. Beverly Hills at it's best. The Spa is great with giant men's and women's hot tubs. The rooftop pool and restaurant has top notch food and a spectacular view. Saw a few celebrities staying there while I was which was cool. Also, it's a across the street from Whole Foods which is ...

Well looks like this might be a one star wonder for those bumped off their flights and in a pissy mood, but I have stayed here several times and never had a problem. Pehaps it is because I am a Starwood frequent guest and I get some upgrades? Nevertheless, I usually get a good rate of about $99 - $109 ...

Tres chic in WeHo! No view, and parking ingress is a bit awkward, but that matters not. Cannot speak for a regular room, we had a suite (with a sweet deal). Designed for longer-term stays with reduced maid service and completely outfitted kitchenette, as well as washer-dryer in room, the suite is huge and you can really spread out. The ...

Serene, spacious rooms, a ton of privacy, a good restaurant and attentive service make this an all-around excellent place to stay in Los Angeles. Located just a block or two from Robertson, right on Burton Way, the L'Ermitage is in a spot where there are actually tons of pedestrians and visitors could conceivably make due for a few days without ...

On the quieter outskirts of Beverly Hills, about a mile south of the fashionable streets of Rodeo Dr and the Golden Triangle, this boutique hotel strikes a perfect balance between 21st-century mod looks and classic Beverly Hills luxe style. Rooms have Old Hollywood decor. Ask for an upper-floor room (they're quieter) with a peekaboo view of the Hollywood sign.

I stayed here years ago... Really nice hotel, great location, beautiful space. The rooms were terrific (with those heavenly beds!), and the prices were good. The only thing that made the experience just ok was that I had to book a block, and wow, it was a major pain in the you-know-what when it came to that. Just annoying!

I my write about luxury travel but have been known to indulge in a little bit of hostel action, once in a great while. As hostels go, this one is probably the best I have seen in terms of cleanliness. The staff was great and I would not hesitate recommending this to budget travellers.

This hotel gets a positive rating for location, physical comfort and cool quality, but a negative review for noise and lack of amenities. Good stuff first: The Crescent is two blocks from Rodeo Drive (and the other shopping streets around it) which are what most visitors to Beverly Hills want to check out. Though the room was small, the bed ...

I really like this hotel--it's very clean, the employees are friendly and, best of all there, there is a Starbucks located in the lobby. It is also in a nice location close to the freeways, downtown Pasadena, and most importantly Colorado street. The gym is a nice size: it's not just a closet with a treadmill. It's a decent size ...
