    Gjelina

This place has yet to disappoint me. Every time, it's been excellent food! All of it! Vegetarians can eat here without question. The salads are alive with unique mixes, but my favorite was the smoked wild trout with grapefruit and avocado. It's hard to share this salad, but with so many good things on the menu (terribly designed with leading ...

This picture just does not to this salad justice! Got a hot plate per recommendation which is a simple salad with your choice of protein. So baby spinach with grilled Thai octopus. Oh boy, so so good! Also must try the tangerine olive oil cake. Yum!!

    Shojin

    6 reviews

Not only does Shojin specialize in sushi, but they also specialize in vegan! Double win. They use brown rice, which makes their dishes a bit healthier than the standard fare. Using their own creative combinations, they recreate typical sushi rolls in a flavorful and healthy way. The dynamite roll (10.95) has the same spiciness one would expect, but filled with ...

    Green Earth Vegan Cuisine

A simple restaurant in the Old Town Pasadena area. While I prefer pho from Little Saigon, the pho here hit the spot. They sell mostly asian food, like crunchy refreshing spring rolls and orange "chicken", but they also have vegan versions of non-asian dishes like pasta, burgers, and salads. It's a great spot for a casual meal after a day ...

    Venice Ale House

Surprisingly great food for a pub. Healthy options/local veggies. Love sitting right on beach... Note: closes at 11 due to noise ordinances. Understandably so... Gets quite loud inside.

    true food kitchen

Passed this place tons of time and didn't even look it up. Spacey, healthy and pricey (you pay for what you get). Their vegetarian asian dishes were unique and savory. I wasn't too fond of their drink because I was expecting it to be sweeter. Friend was happy with his kale juice while I added sugar to my cucumber refresher. ...

    Romancing the bean

Cute coffee place on Magnolia Blvd. - sandwiches were nice (a bit pricey) that came with a salad with edible flowers. Iced coffee is my favorite here - cold brewed and smooth, ask for the coffee cubes (doesn't water your coffee down as much as it melts). I had a toffee sea salt chocolate cooke here that haunts my dreams.

Cute atmosphere, amazing lattes ( Spanish and honey vanilla), and high quality fresh healthy food! If it wasn't so crowded I'd love to study here! And I wish the prices were more student budget friendly

Hole in the wall or just a healthy restaurant placed in a random neighborhood? I'd say it's a hole in a wall kind of place. This place did not look like a restaurant at first because when we walked in, we thought we walked into a home that was turned into a restaurant. The employees were helpful with the recommendation ...

    Pink's Hot Dogs

Pink's you had me at Chili! So good you should kiss the chef! Okay maybe that might be a bit weird.. maybe not as weird in LA. Being a huge hot dog fan, I will let you know that Pink's does not suck. If you ignore the history and celebrates that go there and experience for yourself you won't be ...

First time i went i didnt like it, I got $6 popcorn and a plate of pickles. My fault. I gave this place a second chance, and it was amazing. The double cheeseburger may sound boring but it was one of the BEST burgers i've ever had in LA. The meat itself was so full of juices and flavor. I ...

Large, hearty, delicious salads! Good variety too! I particularly love the vegan option with lots of different grains. Kind of pricey, but I usually eat half and am stuffed so I take the rest home for later, getting 2 meals out of it
