    The Griddle Cafe

Five Stars - for a few select very yummy and very SWEET menu items: Red Velvet Pancakes and Chips Ahoy Cookie French Toast! The chocolate chip pancakes are also super delish, especially that little spot in the middle where the butter has melted in way too much in one spot. I always have to order this without the espresso shot ...

    Blu Jam Cafe

Had the best brunch at Blu Jam this morning. Parked in the residential neighborhood. We were told the wait was 45min - 60min for four people when we arrived around 12:15P - I think it turned out being more like 30 minutes :) Thank goodness because I was Soooo hungry. This was our first time here so we went all ...

Yum Yum Yum. Carb Overload of Greatness! The waffles are delicious, the chicken is apparently delicious though I've never had it and All the other sides are.....Delicious! Authentic comfort food that is reasonably priced, with great portion size. Heads Up: Get there early because the lines can be long, but always worth it.

    Sweet Lady Jane

For a light lunch or late night treat Sweet Lady Jane's makes the best cake in town. A popular place to go after dinner for a coffee and dessert. Order just one piece of cake and share it. The slices are huge!

    Langer's Deli

The things you have heard about this place, it's all very true. This pastrami is the best in the universe. I generally don't associate pastrami as my favorite kind of sandwich meat - it generally tastes a bit processed and often way too salty. But Langers' version of pastrami is slow-cooked and thick, seems as if it was braised. You'll ...

    James' Beach

    11 reviews

Best mid-to-upper scale beach bar in Venice. A really cool hangout with great food and especially fun during evening hours. Go in the early evening and grab a place at the bar. Drinks are strong, the food is amazing and the bartenders are great people. You'll sometimes catch a celebrity or two in here, but they'll be hanging with the ...

    11 reviews

Breakfast and brunch always get me excited. I am a dinner person. On those days when I wake up early enough, I am usually on a very tight schedule. An hour long breakfast or brunch is a rare threat that I only get to enjoy once in a while. Found this lovely restaurant during my last trip to LA. If ...

Great food, lots of choices, and BACON. They are known for their Crack Bacon and although I would have loved to have more, I was limited this trip. Next time. But the carrots, cucumber, and pretzels they being you to start is a nice touch. The poutine varieties are awesome, very tasty but more just potatoes with sauces. The blueberry ...

    Buca Di Beppo

    10 reviews

Definitely haven't been missing much by not trying Buca di Beppo when I had many chances, nor will I be returning to any Buca di Beppo locations anytime soon. Buca di Beppo specializes in housing large parties, making big bucks off of customers ordering the large sizes of their dishes; I came with a party of 5 other people, all ...

    Canters Fairfax

This is your classic Jewish Deli which is open 24 hours! It's got amazing cakes and cookies, and the menu has just about EVERYTHING on it. Good place to roll up with a bunch of friends after a movie or a night out, when everything else is closed and you're suddenly hungry. If you're staying on Sunset Strip or in ...

I've had Eggslut bookmarked for several months and finally checked it off the list this past weekend. I confirm it is overhyped. It is definitely NOT worth the wait. --THE LINE WAS LONG. -Avo burger came with caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, over easy organic egg, avocado and honey mustard aioli in a brioche bun. I like everything about this burger ...

    Green Street Restaurant

Very good, but I expected better for the price. Always very crowded when I have been there on weekend late mornings. Make sure to get something that comes with their zucchini bread, or get some to go!

    Coral Tree Cafe

Coral Tree is a great casual eatery with amazing food (and awesome desserts too). They make some of the best coffee and tea drinks - my favorite is the earl grey tea latte. The salads are huge - you definitely won't go hungry here! They have valet parking in case you can't find space on the street at the meters ...

    Urth Caffé - Pasadena

We went for Sunday brunch, and this place was packed. We had their omelets and Spanish latte, which I strongly recommend. I'll go back some time to try more of their goodies.
