They were having a bunch of Cinco de Mayo specials and Sue Feniger was actually in the kitchen! The food was REALLY great, as were the drinks and the service.

    The Cheesecake Factory

511 Americana Way, Glendale, CA 91210
    4 reviews

The surrounding area of this Cheesecake Factory is what sets it apart - it is located in the Americana at Brand, a touristy albeit pretty outdoor mall - and I may have had a different experience if I sat outside to watch all the Americana antics. But inside, it was like any other Cheesecake Factory: rushed, crowded, cavernous. The food ...

I came here for a business lunch and ended up spending almost two and a half hours eating non-stop. This cute little French eatery has been around forever, and has a very loyal clientele. If you love kabobs these will probably be the best you have ever had. The chicken koobideh is another thing you MUST try. I look forward to trying many more dishes in the future.

    Church of Scientology

    1 review

I don't know if I can say I LIKE the Church of Scientology headquarters (or, as they call it, Pacific Command Center) in Hollywood, but I do find it fascinating. Since L.A. has the largest concentration of scientologists in the world, it makes sense that the L.A. locale is a large complex (formerly a hospital) - but it's still impressive ...
