Cute little space with two yoga rooms. The studio is very open with a lot of natural light, which I love! Plenty of street parking available. You can borrow mats for a dollar and you can also put your mat through this laser disinfecting system for a dollar as well.

What more can I say that hasn't been said already about Dr. Joseph Lee and the staff at Lasik Eye Center. He is simply the best doctor (of any profession) that I know. He saved me from perpetually wearing thick-rimmed glasses! It's so great to be lenses-free, that now, my life is totally changed for the better! No longer do ...

Even Japanese snacks -- Pocky and Panda snacks. It's in a convenient spot in Westwood for UCLA students. Brush your teeth well ...

I'm not sure if this is even the correct name for this shop, but I can't find one anywhere online and there was no other sign in sight. It's too great not to mention it, though. This shop is literally overflowing with knick-knacks and eccentricities. The bizarre collection could have kept me busy for a good long while, but I ...

    1 review

#BeOut If you’re looking for a quick drive-by of whimsy, try checking out some of the Storybook architecture around town. For instance, in Beverly Hills sits an LA landmark called “The Witch’s House,” and at 3819 Dunn Drive in Culver City you can find a group of houses LA locals have come to call the “Hobbit Houses.” Keep in mind ...

Great place to learn about the history of the city of Long Beach. It's open during the day, but it's also open in the evening during First Fridays (obviously, first Friday of the month). The current exhibit is "Coming out in Long Beach", featuring the history of LGBT people and the movement in the city over the last few decades. ...

The Noah’s Ark exhibit is so much fun! The story of Noah’s Ark comes alive with large animals made out of various everyday items. For example, a Kiwi bird is made out of a boxing glove and some copper parts. Some of the animals can be controlled by you as well. There are even some puppeteers that control some animals ...

At one time Los Angeles's entertainment center was on Broadway. Many of the theaters from that era remain, possibly the finest collection of still standing art deco structures in the United States. A few still function as theaters. Others are empty, the bottom levels rented to a mixture of low priced stores. Broadway's still standing theaters include the Million Dollar ...

If you are interested in the early history of Hollywood movie production this is the only Hollywood museum worth visiting. Through its collections of artifacts, photograph displays and old film clips visitors are able to form a good visual picture of early Hollywood. One of Hollywood's first feature films, The Squaw Man, was filmed in this building when it was ...

I have to say - I love this BR compared to other BRs. This is why they get a 5. I usually stop by during the day, since they are only a few blocks from my job. Their staff here is always very nice and helpful (maybe a bit to eager to help sometimes?) and they have gone above and ...

Located within the historic West Adams District, FAME is the oldest African American congregation in Los Angeles. It was organized in 1872 at the Spring Street home of former slave Bridget "Biddy" Mason - the first African American woman to independently own land in Los Angeles. Arthur is an awesome magician in Los Angeles. What I love most about his shows is that he incorporates a great humor of theatrics, that definitely adds a unique flavor to his performance.
