    Delano Hotel

    Delano Hotel

    Class:
    4.5
    35 reviews

The first time I stepped through the Delano lobby and out to the pool are at night, I felt like I was in Scarface - totally transported to another world. A magical place you'll spend $15 for a drink to be at (like everywhere else in South Beach) but willingly.

My girlfriends and I stopped by the W (June 2011), and it was a very lively scene although a bit of an older crowd the night we went. Overall, it was a great vibe, but didn't stay too long because we were looking for a spot for dancing which isn't what you'll find at the bar or pool here. You'd ...

PROS This hotel is the best. If you want a romantic weekend or you want to hang out in a pool 24/7, or you want an awesome free spa, this is the place to be. When staying here I felt like there was really no need to see Miami--I just wanted to stay in the hotel. It's full of cool ...

Picture a dreamlike setting complete with exquisite, hand-painted frescoes on ceilings barrel-vaulted, brilliant travertine floors, fine marble columns, intricate leaded glass fixtures, carved mahogany furnishings and lavish gardens. Then picture this all in the shadow of the Moorish Giralda tower spiraling. Everything in Biltmore is gorgeous!

Unfortunately we tried it only for a drink but we were absolutely delighted by the mold and warm colours of furniture, the very elegant look, the nice and intimate sofas and tables. Wow. What a perfect place to enjoy one of the best drinks ever. I .can't imagine what sleeping here could be.

The biggest annoyance about this hotel is that it's pretty isolated and you need a decent cab ride to get to South Beach, Little Havana, etc. That said, the spa is beautiful and the private beach is lovely. Food and beverage is slightly overpriced, but that's to be expected at a high-end hotel like this. If someone else hadn't booked ...

Incredible hotel, in my opinion this is the best hotel in Florida nowadays. Big comfortable rooms, amazing ocean view, beautiful pools and even a Jean George restaurant inside. Great location in front of the best mall of Miami - Bal Harbour Shops. St. Regis spent 25 millions in art work, its very impressive.

If I were to dream up the ideal South Beach getaway, it would probably look something like this. The Anglers is damn near perfect. A secluded garden-like retreat that's nonetheless a short walk from everything hip and happening in town. Big rooms, centralized location, very atmospheric and fine dining right on site. The cozy little bar at 660 is refined ...

I spent a lot of time here when I was a chef at Nobu. The Shore Club is a true staple in Miami and you must check it out. It doesn’t matter if you’re there during the day to sit in a cabana or at night to get a drink -- there is always something going on.

First of all, this trip was booked in October as a last ditch effort to preserve my perfectly achieved summer tan. Not only was there no sun the entire weekend, but we were on tropical storm watch the entire trip. Regardless, the pancakes, pina coladas, and attentive service made the trip well worth it. The Raleigh is not your typical ...

I last stayed here a few days before leaving for a cruise. The hotel is very close to the port with beautiful views of the ocean. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and staff was friendly. Like a couple of other Four Seasons I’ve been to, this one masters the art of friendly but attentive service. This place is white. Stark white. And not that cool, clean Miami Beach white. I'm not talking about that. I'm sorry, this is a lovely, lovely hotel for people with OCD cleanliness disorders. But for me, I ...
