One of my favorite regions in the country, and a great place to explore. There are many fantastic beaches, golf courses, casinos, and so much more. San Diego has incredible weather all year round.

I love San Diego, it has to be one of the best spots in southern california. The weather is amazing almost all year long. I know we dont have the normal seasons that most people from back east enjoy, but how can you complain about georgous sunny days at 75F most of the year. San Diego also has an amazing selection of brewerys and local fair trade cusine. There is a huge local music scene and many free festivals that incorportate music, food, crafts, and sunshine.

Go snorkeling at La Jolla cove. You can see bright garibaldy fish and a variety of wild life including sea lions sunbathing. Or head donw the coast and part near The Marine Room restaurant and head to the beach throug the access righ next to the restaurant to swim with harmless leopard sharks. They congregate in great numbers during the summer months.

Gotta love San Diego surrounding area! So much to see an do! From the fancy area of Coronado and it's Navy base to La Jolla and further more! From the beach to the mountains. Hiking, surfing, sailing, biking, shopping, eating, flying and much more! There's something to surprise every single person here!

Home of sun, sand, and surf. What more could you want? San Diego is one of the most beautiful cities in America, plus it has every climate and terrain you could hope for, in case, you know, you get bored of the constant sunshine.

This is a lot of fun to visit with the entire family or by yourself. The city is amazing. The surrounding suburbs have great beaches, less crowds, and wonderful quaint little mom and pop places. The best pizzeria I have ever been to is in Carlsbad. Which is just a hop & skip away from the greater San Diego area. I love it there.

San Diego is a very fun city with a vibrant culture all its own. The architecture of the city is clearly rooted in history, but managed seamlessly integrate new with the old. Great restaurants, world class zoo and thriving arts scene.

We live here. We love to travel but nothing is better than the view of the bay as you fly back to SD.

Great place to spend time, live or vacation. In my opinion, better to be here than downtown San Diego because it's less crowded and the beaches are nicer.

A true beach town at the southern end of California, you'll find lots of beach bum surfers and college students in San Diego. There are great shopping areas and resorts and eateries of all sorts -- desserts, casual fish tacos and burrito joints as well as more upscale options.

Description

Site of the first Spanish mission in California, San Diego is today a prosperous coast city in Southern California. With a warm climate, it’s almost never a bad day as bicyclists and surfers ply the beach and downtown San Diego bustles with industry, skyscrapers and students. The San Diego Zoo is one of the world’s best examples of animals roaming (semi-) free, while Sea World houses the most famous cetacean ever, Shamu. The high-end community of La Jolla offers harbor seals and high-end shopping. Whale watching and hang-gliding are available from Point Loma and La Jolla, respectively. Within a day’s travel are the Carrizo badlands (a forbidding desert where mastodons once roamed), Legoland, and the vibrant Carlsbad flower fields. Wineries abound just outside of the city, and wild border town Tijuana is a short drive south.
