When I was a kid this place was called the Princess Resort and they used to have sea lions that would hang out around the observation tower. They were loud as hell, which I’m assuming, is why they are not longer here. Paradise Point is a super cool spot despite their lack of sea lions though. Ducks have taken the ...

A well appointed and nice new Hilton with some logistical problems. It works well as a conference hotel if you're just in the hotel or in the convention center next door, but it's kind of a pain to walk over to the rest of downtown, which is literally on the other side of the tracks. The hotel's dining and Starbucks ...

Like all W's, the one in San Diego is comfortable, cool, and caters to your needs. The room was large and didn't feel cookie-cuter. There was a large window seat - a nice touch. The lobby turns into a lounge in the evenings. Their whatever/whenever service was helpful (I needed toothpaste), and they have a car that can shuttle you ...

The kids loved this hotel. They spent all day in the pool and ended up looking like sunburned prunes. It was particularly great the day we rented a boat from the Marina behind the hotel. Managed to not capsize it once! The fact that the hotel is so close to the airport is an added bonus.

Fun place to party hard in San Diego. I only wish that the pool was larger and that the DJ booth was visible from the pool. I don't like that they are separate from one another.

This place is absolutely luxurious! I felt like a goddamn princess here.
