    Hotel del Coronado

    Hotel del Coronado

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    92 reviews

Wow! This hotel is absolutely stunning. It costs and arm and a leg to stay as a guest, but even if you aren't, it's worth it to go inside and explore the history. We walked in from the beach by one of the restaurants. Just inside, beyond the restaurants is a set of bathrooms. Off in one of the small ...

A hotel in Gaslamp District, right off the bay with views of Coronado, a walkway leading to Seaport Village and the navy ships.. Well, first things first, the gloomy weather didn't allow me to get the tan I needed in their pretty, tropical pool area: two pools + a jacuzzi + a waterfall +lotsa palm trees. I so badly wanted ...

Being on a very strict budget I am at a point where I cannot afford any long vacations or vacations that include flying cost. This place makes you feel like a tropical resort that you flew to and is far away from home even though it is only about 1 1/2 hours from Orange County. It is lush with multiple, ...

    Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego

    Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego

    Hotel Class:
    4
    22 reviews

I just drooled every minute I spent here. The beds are huge and soft, and swallow-you-up comfortable, which was a huge perk for me. And the hotel itself is huge, it's spacious, it's luxurious and yet tasteful, it's conveniently located, it's easily accessible...and the views are to die for. Especially in my room, on the 27th floor with a panoramic ...

    W San Diego

    W San Diego

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    17 reviews

This is fun and hip hotel with a cool location that is a little off the beaten path, so to speak. All in all, I had a great stay, and this W does not fail to disappoint with little extras that make the stays more memorable. I really enjoyed the lobby lounge bar.

Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina

Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina

    Hotel Class:
    4
    20 reviews

The kids loved this hotel. They spent all day in the pool and ended up looking like sunburned prunes. It was particularly great the day we rented a boat from the Marina behind the hotel. Managed to not capsize it once! The fact that the hotel is so close to the airport is an added bonus.

We did Thanksgiving in San Diego last year with my family (who live in San Diego) and my girlfriend’s family (who live in Western New York). My lady’s parents stayed at the Omni and they loved it. I hung out there a bunch and I thought is was great too. It’s super modern looking with all kinds of crazy angles ...

    Hard Rock Hotel San Diego

    Hard Rock Hotel San Diego

    Hotel Class:
    4
    15 reviews

I’m always a bit wary of anything that deeply identifies with the term “rock star”. Besides the fact that there’s no real rock stars anymore, anyone who wants to be one is generally a tool. That being said, the Hard Rock Hotel is incredibly cool. The rooms are modern and chic, there’s multiple eating options on the property, and when ...

Hotel Solamar - a Kimpton Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    10 reviews

Loved this place, but usually do like Kimpton Hotels. Location was great, in that it was just a block over from the Gaslamp district main drag, but didn't have to worry about noise or traffic. Was also convenient enough to the public transportation as we didn't rent a car. If you can plan enough ahead, and/or if there are plenty ...

Coronado Bay is a great place to spend a vacation. It is close to downtown San Diego and all that it has to offer but is set apart and offers a bit of privacy. This hotel is a less expensive alternative to the other major property in the area. It is great for families offering a children's program and a ...
