    Hotel del Coronado

    Hotel del Coronado

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    92 reviews

I've never stayed at the Hotel Del, but I've been there plenty of times. If you're in San Diego, do not miss this place. It's iconic. And don't forget to look at the tower. If you're lucky you'll see the ghost of the girl who jumped out of that room.

I confess the Marriott is my favorite hotel brand anyway, but this particular Marriott is at the top of the list. The location is stunning right on the bay, so views are spectacular, and the convenient access to the trendy Gaslamp Quarter, the San Diego Convention Center, the trolley, downtown San Diego, and tons of restaurants and bars makes this ...

I LOVED camping here with friends. Walk down a set of stairs and you're on the beach. The views are phenomenal and there are showers. The morning walks and sunrises are, "epic," definitely look for dolphins!

Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina

    Hotel Class:

Out on its own, towering in a lush compound right in front of the boat docks in Mission Bay is the Hyatt Regency. This hotel has been here for a long time, but has been remodeled, with the interior in simple but elegant neutral beige tones. The grounds are a little bit like a Hawaiian property with its green plants, ...

This location of this hotel is unbeatable. It is in Downtown and attached to Seaport Village. If you are traveling with a family you should know that it is not a big resort hotel in fact it caters to a largely business and convention crowd. The rooms are large but are not as modern as some other Hyatt's The Sunday ...

Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina

Despite looking on the outside like a big, mediocre, 1970’s built hotel, the inside has been smartly updated and made very enticing. The lobby is big, spacious and has a hip looking business center in the middle of it. The rooms are also updated and are clean and sharp looking. But my favorite part is the big ass pool. It ...

    Crystal Pier Hotel & Cottages

    Crystal Pier Hotel & Cottages

    4.5

This place is right in the middle of the action at Pacific Beach, and it's unique -- you won't find another hotel like it, where you can stay right on the pier overhanging the ocean in historic cottages with flower pots or more bland motel rooms. Reservations usually open 11 months in advance of the month you'd like to stay ...

Grand Pacific Palisades Resort and Hotel

    Hotel Class:

I tend to get a little creeped out when I can tell that a hotel has been built with the knowledge that it will make an UNREASONABLE amount of money, and has roped in other businesses on the deal. I get that feeling a little bit from Palisades, mostly because the resort is absolutely gigantic and has tie-ins with Karl ...

Well I just spent a bunch of time here this weekend and its a very nicely situated hotel with nice but not posh accoutrements. Sycuan Resort and Casino

    Hotel Class:

The suite I saw was pretty big, consisting of a living area, a middle room that had the bathroom in it, and the master bedroom. The room was desert themed, which matched the sweltering sun. I never knew a tiny pool could be so inviting. When I stay at a "resort" I always expect a big pool with maybe some ...
