    CUCINA Urbana

The food and drinks were delicious. Their foraged mushroom pizza was tasty and filling. The wait-staff were friendly and helpful, making recommendations, and it seemed that if I so much as glanced to find one she or he was already at my side.

Popular for brunch, but with a lot of great dinner options as well. The food tastes fresh and there are a lot of wonderful things on the menu. Our waitress was sort of weird, but the other waitstaff was super nice and very friendly. Their flatbreads are awesome!

3rd Corner Wine Shop & Bistro

    4.5
    7 reviews

This was a tough review to write because there were things I really loved about 3rd Corner and things that were mediocre, so I averaged the score out with a 4 star. First of all, when you drive up to the restaurant, you aren't even sure you are in the right place because it's located in a very non-descript building ...

    NINE-TEN Restaurant & Bar

    4.5
    3 reviews

One of the best steaks I've ever had. It's a relatively upmarket place in the Colonial Hotel. Luckily i feel no shame so my shorts weren't a problem, but i recommend something smarter for others. They had a simple tasting menu with a wine pairing. Not cheap, but good thrills.

The Grant Grill Lounge is a revived speakeasy experience with a delish hand-crafted cocktails and food. Be sure to ask about seasonal specials. My favorite is their fall pumpkin martini. I have only been here for brunch, and it was great! Unlimited mimosas or champagne, wide variety of food, fresh stations for sushi, meat or waffles, and a stunning view of the harbor. We stayed for over three hours! Friendly and attentive service, a lovely place for Sunday brunch, but its not cheap.

The Steakhouse at Azul La Jolla Restaurant

    4.5

I was desperately craving steak one night during my Christmas trip to San Diego. If I were to die tomorrow, my very last meal on earth would probably be either sushi or steak. Which I still couldn't quite decide. If my meal at Azul was really my last meal on earth, I probably won't be completely satisfied. However, it was ...

    Nick's at the Beach

    2 reviews

Located only 1.5 blocks from the water, you can meet friends or family here to eat or drink. The only problem is parking is terrible so plan to drive for awhile before you can meet your friends there. They also have a top patio area upstairs for the young crowd who love to watch sports and have a loud time.
