    Sushi Ota

    4.5
    30 reviews

I've been to many "fancy" sushi restaurants, but Sushi Ota remains my all time favorite! If you love sushi and aren't worried about "ambiance" this is your place. If you want a happening scene, then check somewhere else.

    RA Sushi

I would only go here for happy hour. The quality of sushi is mediocre, so it's not worth it to pay full price. It's definitely crowded at all hours of the day, and service was super slow the one time I dropped in for lunch. Don't come here if you only have an hour for lunch, it'll be a close ...

    Sushi Deli 2 Restaurant

    4.5
    8 reviews

I feel like this Sushi Deli is better than the one located near Convoy. Parking here is a bit easier since you can park in the parking structure and get validation. Like the one on Convoy, prepare to wait-- it gets pretty crowded. I feel that the service here is slightly better than the other one. Price-wise, it is pretty ...

    Tajima Japanese Restaurant

3 stars Ramem wasn't bad. I got the thin cut noodle with spicy tonkotsu broth. I expected more from this place because of all the great yelp reviews and the price. Service was great and parking wasn't too bad around 5:30pm. If you can't find parking then I suggest looking for one on the other side of the restaurant.

If you're looking for Japanese home-style cooking, this is the place. It's not a sushi or ramen restaurant. It's all the stuff a Japanese grandma would make if you visited. I came here with some friends from Japan, who ordered for me. I enjoyed the Japanese pumpkin and the gobo salad the most. It's fairly small but fit our large ...

    Katsu Sushi

    4.5

We usually sit at the sushi bar and have drinks and conversation with the sushi chefs. Awesome rolls and they will customize any roll the way YOU want it. They serve the best oysters on the half shell, honeymoon style. They also have traditional Japanese dinners in the dining room and teppan grills if you like the chef cooking and ...

    Hane Sushi

My second most favorite sushi place in San Diego next to Sushi Ota. I always judge a place by their care and serving of Uni (sea urchin). Hane is by far the best Uni experience I've ever had and I'll never forget it.

Thanks to everyone for coming to Tomiko on Monday! What a great spot! Having never been there before, I was worried it didn’t have the views and atmosphere I was looking for. What’s that saying? “Don’t worry, be happy”! Not only were the 180 degree views exactly what they boasted on their website, http://www.tomiko.com/, the food was SENSATIONAL!!! Here is ...

Their happy hour is great. You order at the register and then you sit down with a number and then they bring out your food so it's nice that you can order ahead before the rest of your party comes and it's easier especially if you plan on needing to split a check. They take credit cards and is a ...

I have had to wait every time I've been here but the sushi was very fresh and the drinks were also great! Not a lot of seating (in my opinion) but it has a great outdoor fire pit and heat lamps.

    Sushi Deli 1

If you want cheap sushi rolls, and I mean CHEAP sushi rolls, go to Sushi Deli hungry. Don't be expecting top quality fish, but endless options for speciality rolls, more than you can eat, and a ridiculously low bill.

    Sushi Diner

This is not a place where you should judge a book by it's cover. A small, rastafarian decorated sushi shop with a few tables inside, a few more on the patio and some bar seating as well. Sometimes a short wait but worth it! There are cool rolls like "Bob Marley Roll" and many of them are fresh and delicious ...
