    Little Venice

    19 reviews

From what I was told, the buildings were placed close together so that the people inside could evade invaders by jumping across roofs. Or perhaps it was the other way around. Regardless, Little Venice in Mykonos is a romantic, idyllic, sunny, pristine, additional pretty adjective place. The buildings are particularly stunning, especially the row of colorful houses jutting out into ...

    Super Paradise

Super Paradise Beach, Super Paradise Area, Greece
    3 reviews

There is Paradise Beach and then there is SUPER PARADISE! The Euro Jet-Set crowd has long known about this area. Gone are the days of this being just a beautiful beach. Today with access by water taxi or private yacht, this is the premier *anything goes* each on the island. If you are offended by nudity/partial nudity this might not ...

    Benaki Museum

    Koumpari 1, Athens, Greece
    11 reviews

This museum is absolutely underrated and often overlooked. It is the most modern museum with excellent exhibitions that are constantly changing. It is also at the entrance to Kolonaki where the chic fashionistas congregate. I love the vibe and the staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

    Metaxourgio, Athina 104 36, Greece
    2 reviews

New York Times: There’s been some bad blood between Athens and Berlin lately, with the latter city holding the economic fate of the former in its less-than-forthcoming hands. ‘‘Berlin-Athens, Why So Much Hate?’’ read a recent French headline. Could there be an element of jealousy? Despite being in the red (or perhaps because of it — cheap rents!), the Greek ...

Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, Athens 105 58 Greece
    114 reviews

The Acropolis was my favorite part of visiting Greece. It still blows my mind that some of the dirt on my shoes came from this legendary place. From the views to the historic structures, coming to the Acropolis is like taking a step back in time.

    Athens 11742, Greece
    99 reviews

It's main attraction of Athens. You can't visit the capital without going up the acropolis and visiting the Parthenon. It's best if a guide will be with you to understand the rich history.

The Windmills of Mykonos are a lovely sight, especially when the sky starts to change color. It's a short walk away from the rest of the island, but you could spend at least half an hour just sitting and thinking here. And there's a little gift shop at the top if you'd rather buy stuff instead.

I have been lucky enough to experience both sporting events and concerts at this venue. It is of course the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Most recently I got to experience the ending of the Athens Marathon. It was meaningful and really beautiful and most importantly a source of National Pride.

    Cape Sounion

    Athinon-Souniou Road, Lavreotiki 195 00 Greece
    15 reviews

If you are in Athens for more than 3 days then I would rent a car, take a tour or hire a guide and go out to Cape Sounion. It is on the tip and usually the tours get you there for sunset. The drive is great because there are so many cute beach towns and beautiful beaches to see.
