Underwhelming restaurants with monotonous menus. However, I recommend Artopolis (for lunch) and Athena (pricey). Also, the nice Greek pastry shop.

An important ethnic enclave and certainly one of the more distinctive neighborhoods in the city. A must-see if you live in Chicago and an "advanced" option for out of town visitors unless your really desperate for Greek.

Greektown is chock full of traditional Greek food. If you get here early in the morning, you might even see a goat being carted to a restaurant (I'm not kidding, I really saw one in the back of a truck once).
The neighborhood stays true to its Greek roots and since it's so close to UIC, there is a wide variety of price points at restaurants and you get a nice mix of modern and more traditional Greek eats.
