Green Park definitely lives up to its name! It's literally all green...or just green! The park is a field of green grasses with lots of trees! Green Park is humongous too!

There are chairs and seats for people to sit, but they are rented out by the hour. I saw many people sitting on blankets and drinking wine and snacking on finger sandwiches! I loved it! People were so chill and relaxed there. Because you're very close to unrefined nature, it really allows you to enjoy the moment.

On the outskirt of the park, there's a Canadian Memorial, which was interesting to learn about some history. Right outside a corner of the park in the Buckingham Palace. Additionally, biking is not allowed in the park, only around the park, which creates a very fun environment.

Like the name says, it's very green :) If you are going to see Buckingham Palace, be sure to stop by here, it's very cool to stroll around. There is squirrels everywhere, they are not afraid of people, I saw people feeding them. A nice place to rest and relax.

One of the biggest parks in London located right next to Hyde Park one of the other largest parks in the city. I had a little picnic just sitting on one of the many benches. If the weather is nice and you get sick of being in doors pick up something to "take away" and have a little picnic in one of many parks in this great city.

Just off Buckingham Palace and south of Soho. Nice spot for a walk, a chat or a stroll. Many people were enjoying the stripped lawn chairs made available.

OK as an open space in the centre of London, but there isn't much to see here. I tend to use it as a cut through from Piccadilly to Victoria.

A gorgeous park in the heart of the city, not far from Buckingham Palace, the Hard Rock Cafe, and other attractions in central London. A great place to enjoy a picnic or just lounge in the sun on a pretty day.

Every year millions of Londoners and tourists visit The Green Park, the smallest of the capital's eight Royal Parks.

Comprising just over 40 acres of mature trees and grassland next to Buckingham Palace, the peaceful triangle between Piccadilly and Constitution Hill offers a popular location for picnics and sunbathing in fine weather.

Another of London's beautiful Royal parks. Nice for a stroll if you're hitting up some of Westminster's touristy spots.

Green Park, next to Buckingham Palace, is a huge park and a quiet place the hang out. Relax when you get tired of seeing the sights in the area.

Great place to relax, right in the middle of London. Easy access from several tube stations and between the major tourist attractions so a great place to go and relax. Watch out for the deck chair attendants, you should be paying to use them :)

Feels a bit more intimate then London's other big park spaces and a great place for a walk. Romantic.

Smallish Park adjacent to the humungous Hyde Park and stradding Constitution Hill (the Northern side of Buckingham Palace).

Green Park seperates Buckingham Palace from Mayfair. It is a quiet Green space in the center of London, and on nice days you will see Londoners sitting on lawn chairs soaking up the sun! Join them!

Lovely. I usually walk through it en route to something else, but am charmed every time I do.

Description

Between Buckingham Palace and Mayfair lies a small park known as Green Park. This Royal park covers 16 hectares. It is pure and natural. There are no lakes or ponds on the land, there are also no buildings, and very few man made monuments. It is nature at its purest. If you are interesting in escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, then Green Park is perfect. As you take a walk through the beautiful park, it is hard to believe the history of robberies and duels that took place at this tranquil location.
