Best seafood I've ever had. Excellent old school service. Nice layout so you're not sitting on top of other diners (common problem in London).

Having previously experienced Tea at The Ritz, I was interested to find out why the 'tea' experience here is about 30% cheaper in price. The food is as good, a generous helping of finger sandwiches, chicken, ham, egg mayonnaise, smoked salmon and cucumber and creamed cheese. Follow this with a selection of scones and small cakes and you won't go ...

I adore Ottolenghi. The chef, Yotam Ottolenghi, is a London institution, with a couple cookbooks outlining his inventive dishes. The salads and savory dishes are great, while the sweets are a whole realm of naughty delight in and of themselves. Definitely try the passion fruit tart. And they say the food is bad in England.

It's worth stopping at the original Hard Rock Cafe, the first of the ever-expanding chain, which opened in this former Rolls Royce dealership in the 1970s. To any rock fan, this is a pilgrimage. It has an extensive memorabilia collection, the same great American diner-style food, and the original Eric Clapton guitar he offered to the owners before the Hard ...

Yumchaa makes some wonderful loose leaf teas at much more reasonable prices than, say, Fortnum and Mason. Their Lapsang Souchong and Blueberry Hill are favorites of mine. Whether shopping or checking a show, it's worth stopping in to pick up some tea or sit and enjoy a pot.

My favourite restaurant in London! Of course it offers a specif cuisine, Thai as they define! I just love it! An I am not a big fan of spicy food, I just can't handle it lol but they have great options: noodle, rice, amazing entries. You should try the apple juice! hmmm I can taste it just writing this review ...

Delicious burgers close to Oxford Street (Bond Street) in a fake but still interesting underground atmosphere. Burgers are served on a trolley and you have kitchen rolls instead of napkins...do not expect anything fancy but everything is super tasty!

Really impressed by the freshness! They seem to have their system down. Sushi on the go is usually fairly sub-standard but Wasabi does a good job at keeping options tasting fresh.

Good and cheap hummus in Soho, you can eat in or take away. I was expecting a definitely fancier place and a thus I was sligtly disappointed but at the end, the low price set expectations. Food is good, with a wide range of hummus plates to choose among.

The Patty and Bun has its priorities straight: the best-quality ingredients come out on top, and shine in a no-frills, laid-back atmosphere. All the products used, from the meat to the vegetables, are locally sourced whenever possible, and the freshness is palatable. The star of the menu, the Ari Gold, starts with a generous patty of grass-fed Aberdeen Angus beef, ...

When you are visiting London, you must at least once go for high tea, and when you do, the Wolseley is one of the best places to do it. This is London at its finest. The best sushi in London hands down. London is not known for its sushi, but Nobu is the only sushi place in London that can hold its own against a good California sushi restaurant. The scene is upscale, and the crowd decidedly stylish and cool. There are actually 2 Nobus in London. Park Lane is a nicer dining area, with ...

Viennese cicchetti (small plates) are all the rage in London these days because of Polpo. For added chic, have a cocktail in the Campari bar downstairs while you await your table.

The food here is really very good indeed - Italian breads, pastries, quiches, cheeses, cakes... etc. I also like the interior, which ultramodern but warm. Unfortunately it's become a victim of its own success and is always packed. The location - just off Oxford St in Soho - also means that it attracts the tourists.
