This conservation area, comprised of 50 acres of secondary growth rainforest near the country’s capitol, is an excellent place to experience Belize’s world renowned biodiversity. I staggering number of avian species as well as mammals such as fierce jaguarundi, adorable kjinkajou, paca, and white-tailed deer live within the boundaries of the park and can potentially be spotted from the walking trails open to visitors.
