    Bamboo Forest

    31 reviews

Located at Oheo Gulch, the Bamboo Forest offers good hiking. Going through the forest is our favorite part of the hike. When the wind is blowing the sounds are amazing. It's lush, thick and cool. Go early, as it will take a couple hours to get all the way to the falls and back.

When someone told me I could rappel down a 50-foot waterfall in the tropical valley featured in the movie Jurassic Park the next time I visited Maui, I didn't believe them. But that's what I did--with the help of two very capable guides and their trusty equipment, courtesy of RappelMaui.com. It was, truthfully, the adventure of my life. Now what?
