It's quaint. Didn't expect it to be so small. We went at around noon so most of the stalls were closed and it was hot. But it was such a wonderful and quirky place. Very artsy-fartsy. You should visit around the afternoon. The place looks best at night tho.

    Cafe Le Caire

    0.08 mi from Haji Lane

After a second visit to Cafe Le Caire on a recent trip thru the Singpore, I've come to rate the place more highly. Popular with locals and tourists alike, the Middle-Eastern food at this Kampong Glam institution is outstanding, from creamy hummus with ground lamb and warm Arabic bread to fresh fatoush salads to perfectly seasoned shwarma. With excellent Turkish ...

Good cocktails. Cool atmosphere. Above hip and trendy shops on Haji lane. A good place for a shopping break during the day too.

Thai - Malaysia and Indonesian restaurant - what I know for sure is that its Indonesian dishes are not so original (so perhaps, we should call it Thai - Malay restaurant?)

Great noodle shop of budget friendly price. Located in the center of food court at Bugis Junction. Set menu (noodle + tea or coffee) is only S$5. They cook it right behind the cash register, all the ingredients are fresh, and noodles are hot from the boiling water! Good place to eat lunch.

Ahh, Breadtalk. Breadtalk could very well be my downfall when it comes to healthy eating. Every time I walk into one of their outlets just to pick up one item, I walk out with a bag full and one already halfway eaten. Everything just looks so tasty and the names so cute, that I can't resist. Have you tried Mr. ...

An unique experience! It's a "simplified" form of experiencing to be blind and it already proves to be difficult - am really appreciative of having my sight and full of admiration for the blind. The 2 cocktails we had from the bar are very refreshing and nice! Serving staff at the dining area are very friendly and the food is ...

A relatively new artisanal coffee bar and multi-label menswear retail store opens within the Haji Lane enclave. Housed in a three storey shophouse on Kandahar Street is Maison Ikkoku. This store offers mid-high end international menswear and accessories from Japan, France, USA and UK on its second floor while serving artisanal premium coffee, gourmet sandwiches and asian-inspired house specialities on ...
